my work

Professionally and voluntarily, I've gained experience over the last 7 years where I've tried, failed, partially succeeded; but most importantly - I learned a lot. This is my journey so far:

Induced

Founding Member, 2023-Present

Induced is a SF-based startup backed by names like Sam Altman and firms like Peak XV Partners. We have raised $2.3M and are developing actionable AI products.

I joined Induced as the first founding member in the team after Aryan and Ayush, where I've been part of the journey since the inception of the idea to where we are right now.

  • In 2023, Induced got itself a rebrand from Execute (focused in Web3) where I joined the most stellar set of operators I've worked with. I knew Aryan and Ayush for over 4 years from Twitter but we never got a chance to work together. I was winding down Easocare, and while casually chatting with Aryan about my journey at Easocare - we vibed, I flew to Bangalore, India where they used to "hack cool shit" and the story began.
  • Over the last year, I've been hands-on with everything-AI. We explored LLMs, Gen UI, RAG systems, fine-tuning OSS models and more. If all the learnings over the year have to be compressed into a few words, "Constant learning, blazing-fast shipping and iterative feedback signals a great time, which eventually does build a great product".

SRMD

Volunteer, 2017-Present

Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD) is a global non-profit, with it's interational HQ in Gujarat, India spanning over 223 acres. I have been spiritually inclined for as far as I can remember. This instilled a value in me to give back to the society.

Over the past 7+ years, I've worked on diverse projects in tech, management, AI, and event facilities. Here are some highlights:

  • Recently, our AI lab at SRMD achieved a breakthrough in real-time voice cloning, translating sessions from Gujarati into six languages using the original speaker’s voice.
  • Led the UI/UX design team to curate multiple mobile app and website experiences with creation over 400+ screens
  • The organisation has over 3500+ volunteers. I led the HR Portal project to track the various initiatives taken and human resource allocation
  • Created multiple WhatsApp bots, used daily by thousands of users to track entry-exit in sessions, the international HQ and more. The bot has been used by over 2M+ users so far.
  • Was part of the programme management team which conceptualised and executed large-scale events housing 10-15K people at once

Currently, we're working on several exciting projects and I'm eager to connect with collaborators to bring these ideas to life:

  • AI-based Real-Time Translation: We aim to translate Gujarati voice inputs into English and other languages with minimal delay, displaying them as closed captions and using text-to-speech with real voice cloning for auditory feedback in the user's preferred language.
  • Holographic Experiences: We're moving beyond traditional Pepper's Ghost techniques to create life-like holographic projections, allowing speakers to appear simultaneously at multiple locations, offering a more realistic experience than LED screens.
  • Museum Development Being part of the core team, I'm interested in speaking with experts in museum concept design, as well as consultants and agencies specializing in animatronics, holograms, immersive experiences, and management of rare artifacts.

Easocare

Co-founder and CEO, 2019-2023

Easocare launched in 2019 as a personal EMR app for Android & iOS. Despite initial success, the COVID-19 pandemic prompted us to pivot and become a technology provider for India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, while also developing custom apps for local medical stores across India. We improved logistics visibility by connecting distributors and pharmacies with our solutions.

While we had ups and downs, we had our first office in Mumbai, a team of 13 very talented folks and 2 amazing co-founders - Yaaresh and Aditi. We ended up impacting a lot of lives; for good. Here are a few things we did:

  • Developed a EMR mobile app with E2E encryption which crossed over 10K+ downloads and stored over 1.5M medical records
  • Built a shopify-like interface for unorganised retail pharmacies in India, benefiting thousands with their custom e-pharmacy stores
  • Led the development and maintainence of enterprise projects; for large-scale pharmacies with custom deployments which led over $400K in GMV. Easocare went through rigorous checks and was SOC2, HIPAA and ISO 2007 compliant.
  • Scaled a location-intelligent platform to simplify distributor-retailer supply chain with key partnerships across India. Processed an average of 50K+ orders every month.
  • Managed a COVID-19 live tracker for India which surpassed 10M+ users in 4 months, with a max peak of 44K visitors at a point

Easocare was a learning. A learning to scale things that don't scale typically. A learning to understand the value of partnerships. A learning to manage a team. A learning to talk to customers. A learning to prioritise between development & sales.

UNDEV

Founder, 2018-2019

UNDEV started when I got a knack of web development. I found that to be the coolest thing ever discovered and I was 16 - trust me, it was a big deal. Since I didn't have the resources or bandwidth to create a full-scale creative agency, I partnered with developers, designers, SEO specialists and content writers across the globe to create a commission-based internal marketplace to pick up gigs while representing UNDEV as a brand.

I spent time building the brand, creating a persona of a full-scale creative agencies - and that brought customers. For every client, the front face is UNDEV but BTS - we deployed freelancers to execute their projects. I was naive, but this is the hackiest I could ever be. We ended up serving over $75K+ in portfolio value on Upwork and Fiverr

PrintsMan

Passion Project, 2018

As I dove deeper in the tech/startup world, I came across the first thing anyone would - dropshipping! I created an e-commerce store to sell customised mobile cases and accessories with no inventory. I'll be honest, it failed. But I specifically want to put it out there since this was the beginning of my journey. Although, I did manage to sell the whole e-com website to someone from Kolkata, India for $500 and that was my first internet buck :)
